Spain-based photographer Alejandro Ferrer Ruiz’s has captured such stunning photos of the humble ladybug that it almost doesn’t feel real. The photos are so dreamy. And with the added dimension and complexity water brings to images the end result is something fantastic.

The sense of character from the ladybugs is also brilliant. They seem to be taking a glimpse of their own reflection in a pond – sense of Narcissism or just taking pride in their appearance before the photo shoot? Alejandro prefers macro photography,

he says “I enjoy the beauty that exists in most minute things.”
