Artist Diet Wiegman arranges pieces to form intricately detailed silhouettes (or shadow sculptures).
What may look like an incredibly ugly sculpture is in fact a prism that projects the real artwork like a realistic sillhouettes of Michael Jackson. Using carefully placed light sources and clever angles Wiegman recreates a the Venus de Milo, Atlas, and even Michelangelo’s David. The visual artist also adds an extra dimension of reflections. It’s finally tuned artwork that is testament to the care and dedication of Wiegman.
