Indian Railway photographs

Traveling by rail has a romantic charm that few other means of transport have. For most train journeys the focus of a camera lens would be the passing countryside but in India there are other amazing photo opportunities to be had.

Singrauli Railway station comes under ECR and is situated in the the eastern shore of M.P. and in the border of Uttarpradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. This was established in 1966. At present 12 Express trains and 2 passenger trains have been originating / passing from this station. Also many Malgadi’s passes from this station. As per Revenue point of view this is very important station, as it is the Capital of Energy/ Power. About 12 Coal mines, NTPC, Essar Thermal power, JP Thermal power, Hindalco, Reliance Thermal power, DB Thermal power and many new coming industries are going to be established. It is the HQ of NCL. People from many states of India and also Foreigners are working in different industries of Singrauli and travels by trains from Singrauli Railway Station. Still that there are no sufficient facilities for passengers. The shade is only 30F long, hence no Shades from rain, no sufficient waiting halls, no cool water supply, only one plateforms, very small building no like a big station is available. While many railway stations established after 1990 having big facilities as well as big building. So please study it seriously and provide proper facilities and good building for our beloved Singrauli railway station.
