The Google Art Project works to create a huge quality collection of artworks from around the world. Initially started to showcase the finest artworks from galleries across the earth, the Google Art Project has started to admit street art; especially street art that is at risk of being removed or destroyed. You can visit the website and enter ‘street art’ and a selection of 200 artworks primarily from Sao Paulo, Brazil appear. Of course you won’t get the feel of the artworks’ surroundings and environment but it definitely helps to prevent the artworks from fading into obscurity.
